Nowadays, I don't even get excited when I finish a new song or complete a new music video (snippet). It is what it is.
If folks enjoy it then I love it. Otherwise, there are haters out there who will always hate on you putting your best foot forward and giving it all that you got. Some folks are never satisfied because they're not looking to be. Due to the lack of productivity in their own lives, all they can do is hate.
I just ignore them and appreciate the little bit of love that I do get and ultimately use that as fuel to keep pressing forward.
None of us have it altogether out here in this world. We're all lacking something...something we feel that's missing or need in order to feel/be complete.
At the end of the day, I rather be content knowing I tried and failed instead of failing because I never actually tried.
